ABOUT ME

Hi there! I’m a singer-songwriter originally from the foggy Inner Sunset district of San Francisco, CA now living in the woods in Chimacum, Wa with my wonderful wife and extraordinarily fluffy cat.

My music is inspired by my natural surroundings, by the plants and trees I’m lucky enough to call neighbors, by the way the wind moves through the leaves, by the shear beauty and power of water. Though I occasionally miss the buzz and energy of city living, I love where I live because of how lush and wild it is, my imagination feels free here.

I also find inspiration in the depth and complexity of emotion humans experience navigating this strange world.

Part of being human means constantly encompassing a myriad of dichotomies and I find this experience totally fascinating. That I can hold such unconditional love for humanity and also such complete disgust, that sadness and happiness seem to bloom from the same place within my body, that death and life are so integrally and inextricably intertwined. I love that we are always swimming between these seemingly polar opposites and find a lot of my inspiration in this “between” space.
